Exnihilo Artist-in-Residence program at SilverWorks provides the selected artist unlimited studio access to a fully equipped metal arts studio. SilverWorks is located in Glen Echo Park which is a National Park and historic site just outside Washington DC. Exnihilo has partnered with SilverWorks to offer residencies for for 3-6 months for metalsmiths at different levels. By the end of their residency, artists will complete a body of work that will be shown at in an exhibit featuring the work of the Exnihilo artists.
The Exnihilo Art Award is a $1000 scholarship to be awarded to a student pursuing a post-secondary degree in art.
Intended for students from the out islands of The Bahamas (also known as Family Islands) the Exnihilo Art Award seeks to provide financial assistance for those individuals who may otherwise be unable to attend college due to the barrier of being from a Family Island.
